Your product online before it leaves the production line

3D packshots

Online, your product has a split second to stand out. We build a digital twin of your packaging: an exact 3D model carrying your real artwork. From it we create pixel perfect packshots, hero images and MOIs for every channel, often before the product even exists.

From artwork to pixel perfect image, ready for every channel

A packshot is about precision: the right colour, the right angle and packaging that looks exactly as intended down to the smallest letter. On the digital shelf that image is often all your customer sees of your product.

Because we build the image from the same artwork and data we use for prepress and plates, the colour is always right, every text is readable and there are no creases or reflections like in photography. Artwork changed? The packshot simply renders again. Your web shop, retail app and sales deck are ready the moment the launch starts.

From wireframe to hero image

  • Wireframe (digital twin)

The exact 3D model of your pack: bottle, pouch, carton or tub. Because the shape is right, light, folds and curves fall exactly as on the real product.

  • Pixel perfect packshots

Your packaging shown clean and neutral, at the right angle and with the right specifications per channel and retailer.

  • MOI (Mobile Optimised Image)

A version for small screens: fewer details, larger brand name, variant and size. Recognisable at a few centimetres.

  • Hero images and ranges

A complete product line with the same lighting, angle and look. Your range reads as one family instead of loose parts.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make a packshot before the product exists?

Yes, that is exactly the power of 3D. We build the packshot from the artwork and the wireframe, so your image is ready before the first pack is printed.

When do I choose a packshot and when a MOI?

A packshot shows your packaging exactly. Use a MOI wherever the image is shown small, such as in retail apps, so brand and variant stay instantly recognisable.

What if the artwork changes later?

We update the artwork and render the image again. No new photo shoot needed.
